About Us

Meet

The Parsons

Hello! My name is Eleni Parsons. My husband, Trey, and I began Hens at Home in the spring of 2021.  We strive to bring the joy of hens and fresh eggs to your backyard. We are excited to share our passion for poultry and agriculture throughout NWA!

Eleni

I grew up on a small hobby farm, showing in 4-H and competing in poultry shows around my home state of Minnesota.  I traveled to the University of Arkansas where I

completed a bachelor's degree in Poultry Science and a master's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education.

I've spent time working in the poultry industry and as a 4-H coordinator.

Hens at Home is the perfect combination of my two passions; poultry and agricultural education.

Trey

Trey is a NWA native, where the Parsons family has deep roots. His family started their own agri-tourism farm, Farmland Adventures, when he was 15 years old. As the oldest of eight kids, he was an integral part of putting it all together.

He received a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas and is now a design engineer full time.

He is the man of big ideas for Hens at Home as well as our coop construction expert.
